Fly-in Information to Guthrie, Oklahoma,
and the Cottage at the Seely House

A newly extended runway (now 5,000 ft. usable) makes for an easy and enjoyable fly-in to the Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport. As your hosts at the Cottage at the Seely House Bed and Breakfast, we can provide you with pleasant overnight lodging and a delicious breakfast. We can also direct you to the many events and attractions in Guthrie. The First Capital Trolley (taxi) gives rides anywhere in town for $3.00; their phone number 405-282-6000. Important information for your fly-in
to the Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport

The Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport (KGOK) is located in the city of Guthrie just minutes from the attractions in Guthrie listed below. Until certification of the extended 5,000-ft. runway, the airport is listed in your FAA Airport/Facility Directory as Guthrie Muni. The Airport Manager is Terry Jessup; he can be reached by phone at 405-282-2312. The Airport website is www.GEOPort.us.

Crabtree Aircraft is the Fixed Base Operator at KGOK. They provide both Jet A and 100LL fuels. Crabtree Aircraft is open from 0600-1800 hours 7 days per week. They also provide plane tie-downs, pilot instruction, and aircraft maintenance, rental and sales. Hertz Car Rental service is available at 405-282-8554. If you make a reservation, they will station a car at the airport.

First Capital Trolley operates a mini-van taxi service in Guthrie. Rides are $3 to anywhere in Guthrie. They operate Mon.-Sat. 6:30am-midnight and Sun. 8am-2pm. Their phone number is 405-282-6000. Additional information can be found on their website at www.FirstCapitalTrolley.com.

Bicycles for getting around town can be rented at the Guthrie Bicycle Shop. Bikes rent for 2 hrs ($8.50), 4 hrs ($20), or 8 hrs ($29.95); tandum bikes (for two) are slightly more. Helmets and self-guided tour maps are provided. A security deposit is also required; only checks and cash are accepted. They are open Mon.-Fri. 10am-6pm; Sat. 10am-4pm. The Shop is located at 224 N. Attractions in Guthrie

Guthrie is a special place. It has the convenience and quaint atmosphere of a small town, but with a wide range of interesting sites to see and things to do. Guthrie features an historic downtown with fine dining and antique and gift shopping. Guthrie has four PGA public golf courses and a par-3 course. Seven museums offer a range of experiences; these include the Model Train Museum at the Depot, the Oklahoma Sports Museum, the Oklahoma Territorial Museum, the Oklahoma Frontier Drug Store Museum, the State Capital Publishing Museum, the National Four-String Banjo Hall of Fame Museum, and the Scottish Rite Masonic Temple.
